Stopped in at Les Deux Magots for a classic Parisian breakfast--just a croissant and a cappuccino--and it hit the spot. The croissant was perfectly flaky and buttery, and the cappuccino was smooth with just the right balance of espresso and foam. What really makes this place shine is the setting. Sitting outside in the early morning, watching locals head to work and walk their kids to school, it's like stepping into a movie. The people-watching is top-tier, and there's something special about starting your day in a place with so much history and charm. Yes, it's a bit pricey for a coffee and pastry--but for the view, the vibe, and that perfect Paris morning moment? Worth it.

This place is EVERY tourist dream. After seeing all the posts about this spot, I knew I had to come here for lunch. Was sat at a table with partial sun right up against the window outside. People watching was amazing and the staff were so friendly. Asked the waiter to help me choose between the rigatoni au pistou et burrata & the roast poultry. He told me the pasta was really good and I'm so happy I asked. The pasta was incredible.

We went here Christmas Day of 2024, and weren't disappointed. We were able to make reservations ahead of time, which we were seated right away. Our servers were wonderful and attentive. The hot chocolate was a little too rich to my liking, but the meat and cheese selection as well as the steak were really great. If you visit during winter, like we did, they provide a cozy blanket for you if you sit outside. We're definitely coming back the next time we're in Paris.

We had an amazing lunch at this classic cafe. Though it looked busy we were able to get a table quickly. The staff was great and very helpful, even with our limited French. The food was perfect, and the Croque Monsieur was amazing.

I'm so glad I came here for my last day in Paris with my husband over Cafe Flore (next door). We waited in line, and sure we sat outside to cut the waiting time (winter time), but they had blankets and the service was speedy and the drinks and food were absolutely delicious! Worth the hype!

I had an amazing time at this restaurant. The service was swift and our server was very kind and helpful. I got the meat of the day which was the lamb served with potatoes and it was quite delicious. For dessert, I also got the hot chocolate with whipped cream which was phenomenal, I could eat that everyday. The outdoor seating was also very nice, most almost all of the area is nice and shaded. (See pic of the lamb below)

They know how to make a damn good chocolat chaud! Had the Viennois Chocolat - thick hot chocolate with lightly sweetened and airy whipped cream. I dont know why but the whipped cream lighten up the hot chocolate. I could easily drink the entire serving. And with most sweet things in France, they are never too sweet. An art to aspire to really. Their berries tea is also delicious. Servers were somewhat arrogant hence docking a star but man this place has great drinks. Price is somewhat high even for Paris standard.

Obviously I had to stop by here while in Paris because of its history and it did not let me down! You can tell it's touristy because of all the people who stop by the front and take photos on the place. In terms of the restaurant itself: The old-style hot chocolate was too rich and sweet for me but I had to try due to the rave. Either way, I'd say you should try it because it was pretty good. I highly recommend the Croque-Madam! It was the perfect mix of ham and cheese, even though you'd think it's so simple. The bread is so good!!! And the service was delightful.
